Renovation of the balconies and roofs of a residence in Luxembourg

Luxembourg: Technical renovation and site coordination in an occupied environment

Located on one of the busiest thoroughfares in Luxembourg, the residence recently underwent a targeted partial renovation, which we carried out in three months.

The project consisted of the complete rehabilitation of the external waterproofing, with the partial demolition of the balconies and their coverings, in order to redo the waterproofing of each of them. The works also included the complete repair of the waterproofing of the residence's roof as well as that of the offices' roof.

At the same time, we proceeded with the replacement of all the external metalwork elements: railings, wall copings, as well as all the rainwater drainage systems. The floor coverings of the balconies were completely redone, with particular care given to the finish, durability, and aesthetic integration.

Beyond the technical aspects, this project presented a real logistical challenge: the residence is located on a major urban axis, with heavy traffic throughout the day. Furthermore, the offices remained in operation for the entire duration of the works, as did the apartments occupied by the co-owners.

This situation required extremely precise coordination between the various companies, daily adjusted planning, and continuous communication with the occupants in order to guarantee the smooth running of operations in a secure, respectful, and fluid environment.

This project is a concrete illustration of our ability to intervene in constrained urban contexts, ensuring the quality of execution and respect for deadlines, and mastered management even in the most complex situations.
